Reveal
Definition
When the partner plays the called Ace, revealing their identity to all players.
Reveal in play
The reveal is the turning point of a Called Ace hand: when the called Ace is played, the partner's identity snaps into the open and both teams finally know who they are fighting. Timing matters - a partner forced to play the Ace early hands the defense information, while a well-timed reveal can land alongside a pile of already-schmeared points.
Example
“Once revealed, the partner can openly help the picker.”
