Doubler (Doubler Chip)
Definition
A Wisconsin tradition where a chip or marker is placed on the table to double the stakes of the next hand. Doublers commonly accumulate after a Leaster or when a hand is passed out, and they stack โ two doublers means 4x stakes.
Example
โAfter three leasters in a row, the table is playing for 8x stakes on the next hand.โ

Leaster
A special hand played when all 5 players pass. Everyone plays for themselves, and the player who takes the FEWEST points wins.
Crack (Doubling)
A variant where defenders can "crack" to double the stakes after someone picks. The picker can then "re-crack" to double again.
Re-crack
When the picker doubles the stakes again after a defender has cracked. Results in 4x the normal stakes.
Stick the Dealer
A Forced Pick variant where, if every other player passes, the dealer is "stuck" with the blind and must pick. Eliminates Leasters entirely and rewards aggressive picking from the seats to the dealer's left.
